Holy Trinity Primary School first opened in September 1876, and caters for boys and girls, aged 3-ll years of age. At present, there are approximately 360 children on roll. We have nine classrooms and a purpose built Foundation Unit, to accommodate 2 Reception classes and a nursery. Additionally we have an ICT suite, a food technology classroom, a library, a hall with fixed apparatus, a radio station and wildlife garden. Our school is set in extensive grounds with a large field, a woodland and a variety of stimulating outdoor play equipment.
We aim to provide an educational experience that excites, inspires and motivates the children to achieve their very best in all areas of the curriculum. We ensure that children are taught the skills they need to become independent and confident learners, problem solvers, team players and above all responsible and caring individuals.
Our staff work in teams to share the preparation of work, drawing on different experiences, knowledge and expertise to ensure work is relevant, purposeful and well matched to meet the needs of all our children. In this way, we are able to utilise the strengths of a large staff team and enhance the quality of learning and teaching here at Holy Trinity.
We hope this site gives you a flavour of our school - please feel free to contact us should you wish to.
